XReporter's Home

Introduction

xReporter is an open-source, web-based database reporting framework. It allows you to create flexible reports without any programming (though you'll need SQL knowledge).

xReporter is written in Java and based on a lot of Apache open source projects such as Avalon, Cocoon and Tomcat. xReporter's presentation layer makes extensive use of XML and related technologies, such as XSLT.

A good place to get started with xReporter is the overview document. Instructions on downloading and installing xReporter can be found in the installation document. Afterwards you can read the rest of the documentation to learn more about xReporter.

If you have any questions about xReporter, or if you want to participate in its development, you can join the xreporter mailing list. To get notifications when changes occur in SVN, subscribe yourself to the xreporter-commits list.
